          Milica UVALIĆ

          Professor Milica Uvalić is a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (RSC) at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence (Italy) since 1 November 2023. 

          Previously Full Professor in Economics (2002- 2023) and Associate Professor in Economics (1992 – 2002) at the University of Perugia (Italy), where she taught courses on European Economic Integration, Economic development and global governance, Economics of transition, International Economics, Macroeconomics and Labour Economics. 

          She was also member of the United Nations Committee for Development Policy (CDP) for two terms (2008 – 2012), Public Policy Scholar at the Woodward Wilson Centre in Washington DC (2009) and Assistant Minister in the Federal government of FR Yugoslavia (2001).

          She holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence.
