Bollywood woke up to the sad news of the demise of Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid duo on Monday morning. The singer-composer died of Covid and kidney ailments in the wee hours today (June 1).

He was just 42 and breathed his last at Mumbai's Surana Hospital.

The singer-composer is the younger brother of composer Sajid Khan, with whom he composed several hit numbers.

Career in Bollywood

Wajid debuted as a music composer in Bollywood with Salman Khan's Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya in along with his elder brother Sajid Khan.

They composed one song, Teri Jawani Badi Mast Mast Hai, for the film. Following year, the composer duo were offered to give music for four songs in Salman Khan's Hello Brother.
